We're only a month or so from the start of the London 2012 Olympics, so we're doing everything we can to make sure the Olympics Accommodation Site is ready as can be! So we have done a bit of cleaning up, fixing outstanding bugs, and implemented some performance tuning to further enhance the user experience.

One problem that affected a small minority of users, was a little bug that would sometimes prevent users from logging in. This was due to our security measures, which in some scenarios proved too strict. We're happy to say that this issue now seems resolved. If any of you continue to experience this issue, please let us know!

A less visible, yet very important improvement has been in the area of site performance. Although the Olympics Accommodation Site was already one of the lighter and better performing websites, we've introduced further enhancements to speed things up. The site is now more responsive and provides a better experience.

A minor downside of this is that the ad visits statistic no longer counts visits as accurately as before, and we will therefore be phasing it out in the near future.
